YohPal Live Child Safety Policy
Version: 1.0
Prepared: 13 October 2026
Policy owner: Child Safety Standards Officer
Status: Published
Effective date: 13 October 2026
1. Purpose and scope
YohPal Live is committed to protecting children and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation.
This policy applies to everyone using or administering YohPal Live. It covers all enabled features, including videos, live sessions, recordings, replays, comments, direct messages, profiles, polls and shared links.
These standards apply regardless of whether children are the intended audience. This policy does not establish a minimum registration age or claim that age verification is implemented.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
YohPal Live prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Prohibited conduct includes:
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, advertising or distributing CSAM.
- Grooming or soliciting a child for sexual purposes.
- Sexualized depictions, comments or requests involving children.
- Sextortion, coercion, blackmail or threats involving a child.
- Trafficking or facilitating the sexual exploitation of children.
- Sharing personal information that exposes a child to stalking, exploitation or other harm.
- Using links, alternate accounts, private communications or third-party services to evade these rules.
- Monetizing or rewarding prohibited content or conduct.
These prohibitions include manipulated, synthetic and computer-generated exploitation material. Claims of consent, humor, fiction or parental permission do not make prohibited exploitation acceptable.
3. Reporting child-safety concerns
Users must not download, screenshot, forward or re-upload suspected CSAM to make a report. Reports should provide only the information necessary to identify the relevant account, content or interaction.
The authorized reporting address: childsafety@yohpal.com
Mailbox provisioning, delivery, staff access and monitoring must be verified before this address is represented as an operational reporting service.
Each enabled user-generated-content feature must provide an accessible, verified in-app reporting route. One-to-one interaction features must also provide appropriate blocking controls. Features that lack the required reporting, moderation or protective controls must remain unavailable.
The published policy must describe the actual reporting route available in the released application.
4. Report assessment and escalation
Authorized Child Safety personnel must handle reports through an approved, access-controlled process.
The process must:
- Create or record a unique case reference.
- Record receipt and acknowledgment timestamps.
- Assess urgency using approved safeguarding criteria.
- Assign responsibility to an authorized officer.
- Escalate urgent concerns to the designated responder and alternate.
- Record decisions, protective actions and verified outcomes.
- Retain an auditable closure record.
Operational coverage and response targets must be supported by approved staffing and tested arrangements. YohPal Live must not advertise continuous monitoring or fixed response times without that evidence.
5. Moderation and protective action
Authorized moderators may restrict content, suspend accounts or recommend termination in accordance with approved procedures and applicable law.
A recorded moderation decision is not proof that enforcement occurred. The responsible technical operator must verify the restriction across affected application, backend and provider services.
Live-session restrictions require separate verification of media disconnection and reconnection denial. Cached content, previously issued links and third-party distribution may require additional protective measures.
An unavailable or unsuccessful enforcement action must be recorded and escalated.
6. CSAM handling and lawful reporting
Staff must avoid unnecessary exposure to suspected CSAM and must not circulate it through ordinary email, chat, public repositories or personal storage.
Only authorized personnel may preserve necessary evidence through approved specialist procedures. Preservation must be lawful, proportionate, access-controlled and subject to approved retention and legal-hold requirements.
The Child Safety Standards Officer and Legal and Compliance function must establish applicable reporting obligations, authorized reporting destinations and escalation procedures. Required reports must be made through those approved routes.
No referral or external report may be described as completed without supporting evidence.
7. Appeals and suspension safeguards
Eligible account restrictions must have a separately approved, secure appeal process.
An appeal must:
- Verify the appellant’s authority without exposing private account information.
- Preserve suspension and other restrictions while review is pending.
- Prevent unauthorized third-party access.
- Use an authorized, conflict-free reviewer.
- Prevent the appellant and original decision-maker from deciding the appeal.
- Recheck current reviewer permissions and enforce revocation.
- Handle duplicate submissions safely.
- Record the decision, rationale, reviewer and notification outcome.
Submitting an appeal must not automatically reactivate an account. Restoration requires separate authorization and verified execution.
This policy does not claim that a restricted appeal route is currently operational.
8. Privacy and evidence security
Collect and retain only information necessary for safeguarding, lawful reporting, appeals and accountability.
Safety records must be protected through individual accounts, least-privilege permissions, appropriate authentication, access logging and prompt access revocation.
Reporter and child identities must not be disclosed unnecessarily. Retention, legal holds and secure disposal must follow approved legal and privacy procedures.
Account deletion must be reconciled with applicable lawful preservation obligations. Completed deletion or purge must not be claimed without verification.
